What we do
Care With Me continues to expand and grow by working in collaboration with government bodies (Local, State and Federal), Community Service Organisations (CSO’s), Non-Government Organisations (NGO’s) and other agencies and representative bodies. Consisting of members passionate and experienced within the social and welfare sector, Care with Me strives for even bigger and better things in the future! We believe by working together, we can CARE for all children, young people and families involved in Out-Of-Home-Care, such as foster care and community care.
Often children and young people in OOHC loose their Cultural and Religious identity and that’s where we come in.
CARE represents the following

Australia is a lucky country made up of people from more than 200 races but traditionally it has been hard to get new and establishing communities involved in this area of community service.
CARE With ME is doing amazing never before seen work to establish a working model on how to new and establishing communities can be engaged and trained so that they can be able to provide Out-Of-Home-Care.
The program is starting with the Muslim community because there were more than two Muslim children and young people going into Out-Of-Home-Care every week in Victoria and when we first started, in 2009, there was less than five Muslim families registered to provide this kind of care.
Now we have more Muslim carers, thanks to our specialised recruitment efforts.
We are constantly working across Victoria holding iCARE Information Sessions at Mosques, schools and community centres to better inform the community on the need for them to become involved in this valuable community service of providing care for all children and young people, including those that share the same faith or cultural backgrounds.
This ground breaking work is creating a buzz in the child protection sector as we are now successfully modeling the below services which have been long overdue.
We serve two groups and for each we provide two services.
