About Disability Discrimination Legal Service
Tenant Phone: 03 9654 8644
What we do:
Disability Discrimination Legal Service (DDLS) provides legal advice to clients who have experienced discrimination on the basis of a disability. We also provide assistance to prepare and lodge complaints about disability discrimination with the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) for the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) or the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission (VEOHRC) for matters pertaining to the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic).
We provide referrals to people who contact the centre with non-legal issues or with legal issues outside the scope of our organisation, for example family law. DDLS also provides an evening legal advice (Wed).
