What we do

• Disabled Wintersport Australia (DWA) is the national sporting organisation and peak body for adaptive winter sport in Australia.
• We provide athletic pathways for people with disabilities towards competition and ultimately international representation.
• We provide opportunities for people with disabilities to ski/board and experience Australia’s alpine areas with their fellow skiers and boarders.
• This is achieved through the use of adapted ski equipment and snowboards with specially trained instructors and guides.
• We use skiing/riding and the alpine environment as a setting to contribute to the health and wellbeing of people with disabilities.
