It is our great pleasure to announce that Ross House Association has a new Chairperson, Colin Neave AM. Colin is a member of ABC Friends Victoria, a member and tenant of Ross House Association and was appointed to the position at a recent RHA Committee meeting.
Colin served as Australian Commonwealth Ombudsman from 2012 to 2017, Adviser to the CEO and Board of the ANZ Banking Group between 2017 and 2020 and is currently Chair of Trustees of the Jan Pentland Foundation. He has previously held office as Chair of the Commonwealth Consumer Affairs Advisory Council and President of the Administrative Review Council. Colin brings a wealth of experience to the role, and we are looking forward to working with him at Ross House over the coming years. Colin joins RHA at a busy time with arrangements underway for a commercial lease on the ground floor of Ross House.
Maggie Maguire OAM is also returning to the RHA Committee as an appointed member this year. Maggie was an RHA appointed Committee member from 2019-2022 and returns this year to assist the Association and Colin as we set the strategic direction of the Association for the next chapter of Ross House. Amongst her numerous leadership roles in the arts and community sectors, Maggie was the CEO of Abbotsford Convent Foundation from 2006-2016 and was instrumental in revitalising the heritage listed site into the creative arts space we know today.
