Circuit breaker lockdown: Information for Tenants, Members and Facility users

The State Government has just introduced a snap Circuit Breaker lockdown in Melbourne for 5-days under Stage 4 restrictions from tonight, 11:59pm on the 12/02/2021 (see: https://www.premier.vic.gov.au/statement-premier-85). This means there are only 4 reasons to leave home:

  1. Shopping for necessary goods and services (one person per household per day)
  2. Caregiving
  3. Essential Work (see list in link above)
  4. Exercise (up to 2-hours)

There is a 5km limit on travel from the place of primary resistance and masks must be worn at all times except in the home.

The ‘if you can work from home you must work from home’ order is now in place again. Which means RHA staff and most of the Ross House tenants will need to return to working from home.

RHA Staff will not be present in the Ross House office for the week of the 15th February and we will reassess at the end of that week following health advice from the Victorian Government.

Anyone who has a meeting room booking can get a full refund, please contact rosshouse@rosshouse.org.au

From the Ross House Team we hope everyone stays well, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
